We help manufacturers, paper producers, and industrial operators become AI-first organisations — across marketing, sales, HR, admin, and management. Without disrupting what already works.
Get your in-house team fluent in AI in an intensive two-day session.
A two-day hands-on workshop for your leadership and operations teams, delivered with a two-week gap between sessions so your team has time to apply what they learn. Your team leaves with practical skills, a prioritised list of workflows to tackle, and a shared language for talking about AI internally.
Enquire about a workshopFind the workflows AI can replace. Build the tools that replace them.
We audit your operations, identify three workflows where AI will create the most leverage, and build and deploy the tools to replace them. Tailored to your operation, not dropped in from a template. Begins with the two-day AI Workshop.
Discuss a consulting engagementBecome an AI-first company, top to bottom.
A six-month engagement where we rebuild three business departments — chosen from marketing, sales, HR, admin, or management — based on where your current bottlenecks are. Not a pilot. Not a proof of concept. A transformed operation.
Discuss a transformation engagementDiscrete and process manufacturers. We help operations leaders automate quoting, production planning, quality control, supplier communications, and the administrative work that surrounds a working shop floor.
Mills and converters modernising scheduling, predictive maintenance, customer service, and internal knowledge management — without ripping out the systems that already work.
Logistics, metalwork, chemicals, print, packaging, engineering services. If your business makes or moves physical things for a living, we likely fit.
Not sure if you fit? Take the free AI readiness assessment. We'll tell you honestly.
Take the five-minute AI Readiness Assessment. We identify three to five areas where AI will create the most leverage in your operation and score your organisation's readiness to act. You get a written summary. Yours to keep, whether you work with us or not.
Every engagement starts here. A two-day workshop for your leadership and operations teams, delivered with a two-week gap between sessions so your team has time to apply what they learn. You leave fluent in AI, with a prioritised list of workflows to tackle.
After the workshop, we know your business well enough to propose a tailored engagement — consulting, development, or full transformation. Clear deliverables, fixed timeline, fixed price. You approve before anything starts. No open-ended retainers, no scope creep.
We execute. Weekly progress updates. You see the work as it happens, not in a big reveal at the end.
Your team owns what we built. We deliver documentation, training, and a 30-day support period. If you want to continue working together, we'll propose what makes sense next. If not, you keep everything.
Every engagement starts with the same question: where does your team spend the most time on work that doesn't compound? We identify the workflows first, then choose the technology — not the other way around. Most AI consultancies do this in reverse and wonder why nothing sticks.
The people using what we build are machinists, operations managers, paper mill supervisors, logistics coordinators. They're not going to learn a complex interface, and they shouldn't have to. Everything we deploy is designed around the reality of an industrial shop floor or back office — not a Silicon Valley product team.
At the end of every engagement, you own the systems, the documentation, and the knowledge. We don't create dependencies. If you never want to work with us again, you'll still be better off than when we started. This is also why we don't sell open-ended retainers.
Komet Advisory is the sister firm to Komet Media, which creates premium digital content for technology companies. Komet Advisory applies the same standard of work to a different problem: helping industrial SMBs operate like AI-first organisations.
We built Komet Advisory because manufacturers and industrial operators are under-served by AI consultancies. Most AI consulting firms sell to enterprise technology buyers or to software companies. Very few understand the realities of a 50-person machine shop, a regional paper mill, or a mid-sized logistics operator — where the margins are tight, the workforce is experienced, and the cost of getting it wrong is real.
We work remotely and in person with clients across the UK and US. Our engagements are structured to deliver real outcomes without requiring you to restructure your business around a consultancy's schedule.
5 minutes. Instant results. Zero pressure.
We ask you questions that map your current workflows, identify three to five areas where AI will create immediate leverage, and score your organisation's readiness to act on them.
A written assessment with your readiness score, specific workflows to tackle first, and recommended tools. Yours to keep.
If it makes sense, we'll recommend the AI Workshop as your starting point. If it doesn't, you still have a useful document.
Founders, operations leaders, and managing directors of industrial SMBs with 50 to 500 employees.
Every engagement starts with the AI Workshop at $1,500. From there, consulting engagements and full transformation engagements are scoped based on the workflows and departments involved. We quote fixed prices, not open retainers.
The workshop runs two days with a two-week gap between sessions — about three weeks end to end. If you continue into consulting, that's typically four to eight weeks after the workshop. Full transformation engagements run six months or more. We'll give you a specific timeline after the workshop, once we understand your operation properly.
Yes. The workshop is how we get your team fluent enough to make informed decisions alongside us, and how we get close enough to your operation to scope the work properly. It's also why our consulting engagements are faster and more accurate than firms that start cold — we've already done the discovery.
No. Most of our clients start with nothing. We meet you where you are and build up from there.
Some, yes — but only the ones that genuinely matter. We design every deployment around the reality of your team's existing workflows and skill level. We're not trying to turn your operations manager into a prompt engineer.
Your team owns everything — systems, documentation, training materials. We include a 30-day support period. If you want ongoing support, we'll propose something specific; we don't sell open-ended retainers.
Our focus is industrial SMBs in the UK and US. We occasionally work with operators in other English-speaking markets (Ireland, Canada, Australia) when there's a clear fit. If you're outside those regions, get in touch and we'll be honest about whether we can serve you well.
